Edward attended Ohio University for Theater and then Cleveland State University to earn a BA in Dramatic Art, emphasizing acting and directing. He trained under Dr. Joseph J. Garry, artistic director of the Playhouse Square Association, and Richard Oberlin, then director of the Cleveland Playhouse. He studied under John Solari, a member of The Actors Studio in Hollywood, CA, under the direction of Martin Landau and Lou Antonio. Edward continued to stay in the game by performing in “The Normal Heart” at the Cleveland Playhouse under the direction of Dr. Joseph J. Garry and William Rhys.

 

Edward still works as an actor, director, screenwriter, and script doctor and has performed with many talented actors, including Peter Stormare, Justin Chatwin, and his good friend Tony Sirico. Edward wrote the screenplay and directed “A Scarf For Joey," and the upcoming Sciarpa production “Avenging Justice”.

Debbie Scaletta is a member of SAG-AFTRA and an acclaimed indie film actress based in Cleveland, Ohio. She received the Best Actress Award for Cleveland Scene Magazines Best of Cleveland 2023.  Since beginning her acting career in 2012, Debbie has amassed over 60 film and TV credits, demonstrating her versatility across genres. She is best known for her lead role as the sadistic Warden Jack in the action thriller "Escape From Death Block 13," a film celebrated for its intense action sequences and a notable ensemble cast that includes Robert Bronzi, Nicholas Turturro, and Lawrence Hilton Jacobs.

 

Debbie also starred in the romantic comedy "That's Amore" (2020), where her comedic timing as Debbie brought warmth and humor to the screen, and she showcased her dramatic range as the hitwoman Miss T in the acclaimed web TV series "Holy Driver." Her work can be seen on Prime Video, TUBI, and other streaming platforms, reflecting both the breadth of her talent and her significant impact in independent cinema.

Larry DiBartolomeo is a Cleveland-based actor known for his dedication and versatility. He began his acting journey in 2016, training with Shannon Yancsurak in Los Angeles and continuing his studies at The Houde School of Acting in Cleveland. Larry has built an impressive portfolio with over 50 IMDb credits, spanning feature films, short films, and commercials.

 

His standout performance in “The Buschers – An Alzheimer’s Story,” where he portrayed a devoted family member grappling with the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease, earned him the Best Male Actor award at the 2023 NYC and State Film Festival. In the web series “Holy Driver,” Larry took on a complex role as a mob boss in a gritty crime drama, showcasing his ability to convey emotional depth and intensity. He also appeared in the rom-com “Don’t Say It,” further highlighting his range across genres.

After an accomplished 37-year career in Sales Management, Ron sought new creative challenges and discovered a passion for independent film production. In 2024, he joined Sciarpa Productions LLC—now Sciarpa Films—as a Line Producer, where his leadership skills quickly became indispensable.

 

For their first feature, "A Scarf For Joey," Ron not only managed all facets of business operations but also coordinated a team of 30 actors and 10 crew members, negotiated contracts, and implemented measures to ensure the project remained on track financially. Despite the logistical hurdles often faced in filmmaking, Ron’s strategic approach and attention to detail helped the production finish both on time and within budget, marking a successful transition into his new career.
